Bethany Hughes said that Heinrich Schelimann had been the one to discover the site that he believed to be the city of Troy. They stated that the city walls crumbled, and were buried underneath nine cities. Schelimann believed that the city of Troy existed from 3000 to 400 CE. But today, many dont believe that is the actual city of Troy today. They dont believe what Schelimann says he founded.

My task is to complete the following pre-reading question: In what ways do the lives of great leaders show a mixture of achievements and setbacks?  Do you think less of leaders who show weakness or encounter failure?  Think of one or two great leaders, either living or dead, and free write about triumph and tragedy in their lives. So here i go.... The lives of leaders show achievement and setbacks because some of them have great achievements, and some have really bad setbacks. It is the great leaders life's that reflect on which they achieve at or are failing at in certain things. I think if a leader shows a weakness it shows be that they are just human and make mistakes. Hence, I don't think bad of leaders who encounter failure. For example, President Kennedy. He had some ups and down, but he made a great leader, he had a few mistakes, and had some huge wins. And because he stood up for what he needed and thought what was right, he stood till the end and paid the ultimate price, by losing his life for what he thought was 100% right. I admire him greatly...

Assignemt for 10-14-11

My assignment for today is to ponder about what life without and alphabet would be like.

A life with out an alphabet would be like spoiled milk. It may come in a milk jar or container, but it is not edible or use able. So life without an alphabet would be unusable to write or spell words out even though we may know how to say it we would not be able to pronounce new words, or spell them or write the word out.

9-20-11 Assignment

I was to today freewrite about resumes. So here I go.
Resume to me is a document you give to your future employer to give examples of what you have done before in your life expirences.
It can help you lose a job or get a job.
It will help to give the employer a look at what you can do that you have done before
It will help your past employers to be able to help another employer to get a look at what was done there.

Well I was to be timed for 5 minutes. And I did, And that was what I got to freewrite in 5 minutes!! Enjoy!!

My life has been intersting, my mom passed away 13 years ago, and since then my grandma has been taking care of me and my sister. We have 3 cats, Samuel, Ella and Emma, and we have one dog, Chloe. Our pets are not just animals they are our family and we love them alot. My life is simple, but so much fun. We love all of our family and friends. And we enjoy having even more fun with them.
